WebJul 13, 2012 · The TR switch contains four internal switches that indicate the transmission gear range selector lever position. The PCM supplies ignition voltage to each switch circuit. As the gear range selector lever is moved, the state of each switch may change, causing the circuit to open or close. An open circuit or switch indicates a high voltage signal. WebAug 19, 2024 · I am after some info as i now have an issue with the gear selector not rotating, the engine will run so this rules out the footbrake switch as you have to put your foot on the brake to start the car, i can engage the emergency neutral red lever under the cup holder to move the car, which i had to do to tow the car home.
